The Prologue of this book begins in the year 1953 in Italy. Walking with her husband in the evening is Viviana. Sebastian has not fed for a long while and is very enticed by Viviana. When her husband Angelo goes into the store to get wine Sebastian knows it's his time to have a little snack... little did he know he would see images of Viviana's granddaughter through her blood. A Granddaughter who was also named Viviana. A Granddaughter who turns out to be his soul mate...

It is now 2013 and Sebastian is an unseen part of Vivian's life as he has been since 1st drinking from her Grandmother's blood. He watched in the shadows as Viviana grew into a beautiful 28 year old woman. Sebastian does not want to hide in the shadows any longer, he will not wait any longer to get to know her on a more personal level.

I quite liked this book. Was it perfection? No, but it was good. It reminded me actually of that certain teen vampire series if you catch my drift, but with a lot more sex and no battle. ;) I found Sebastian to be quite the sexy Vamp. I did not find Viviana's personality to be anything special, but I usually feel that way about the "heroine". The sex though was superb.

I give this book a 4 star rating as I felt the ending was quite rushed and a bit unnecessary. I felt this book could have been a wonderful single novel without making it to be a trilogy.

If sexy vampires are your thing, I definitely think you should give this book a try. ;) Also, a big thank you to Ms. Everdale for the opportunity to read and review your book!
